COSA is the national oncology community bringing together multidisciplinary health professionals across all cancers to advance care and improve outcomes.

As a COSA member, you will have opportunities to connect with oncology leaders, build networks and collaborations, access professional development and education, drive advocacy, and facilitate research.

COSA membership is open to healthcare professionals who have an interest in oncology relevant to the vision and mission of COSA. You are eligible for COSA membership if you hold a professional qualification, are working in healthcare or research, and devote a majority of your professional activity to cancer care and/or research.

Members of COSA Affiliated or Associated organisations are eligible for a discounted membership rate on selected individual membership types.

Membership is valid from 1 July to 30 June each year. Membership fees are GST inclusive. We accept Visa and Mastercard for payment.

Medical Member

This membership is for qualified clinical practitioners with a specific interest in oncology. Medical members hold a postgraduate degree or fellowship from a recognised College or Society, eg medical or radiation oncologists, surgeons, general practitioners etc.

This membership is for health professionals or non-medical professionals with a specific interest in cancer care, eg exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, psychologists, nutritionist/dietitians, radiation therapists, non-clinical administrative staff etc.

A person who is undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate studies with a focus on cancer care in an Australian educational institution is eligible as a student member. Students must indicate an expected completion date on application and COSA may request documented evidence of student enrolment periodically.

Retiree Member

A person who has retired from professional employment, has held COSA membership for 10 years prior to retirement, and has a continued personal interest in cancer care is eligible as a retiree member, subject to Board approval.

A person who has made significant and sustained contributions to COSA or to cancer care in general is eligible for admission as an Honorary Member. This membership category is offered to past Presidents of COSA and nominees and must be approved be the COSA Board.
